Lent is a time to pull back, deny self, and prepare for Easter. Likewise, following Jesus' baptism, he withdrew under the direction of the Holy Spirit to the wilderness before beginning His earthly ministry. Wilderness is a part of our lives too. We cannot live and love and engage life in meaningful ways without sometimes ending up in the wilderness. Wilderness times are those times when we feel we are tested to our limits. In this series, we will explore this difficult spiritual territory and learn how we can leverage these seasons toward spiritual growth and maturity in our lives.
